"Not just a criminally good debut, a criminally good album. It's a real shame that artists like Paul Draper just do not seem to stand a chance in this world of mediocrity. Tisk, tisk. Apparently this album was pretty much already done when Radiohead was only getting started in recording their most..."  [+]  Reply

"You can't really go softer and gentler than this LP. Superb songs. Electric Guitars is a nostalgic reflexion on the Beatles: "We were songbirds, we were Greek Gods, We were singled out by fate, We were quoted out of context - it was great"."  Reply

"Magnificent album that demands several listens to get the full grasp of it's power and beauty. A Canadian project that formed in the late 80's headed by Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, Delerium had gone through several transitions over the years but 1997's "Karma" could very well be their greatest ach..."  [+]  Reply

"Gotta say after listening to this again now I'm enjoying it even more haha. Misunderstood album perhaps? I feel like it was. I think it's pretty cool. These guys got made fun of so much back then, gosh if only they had a different name maybe."  Reply

"When I first heard this album, I was impressed with all the arrangements. Swirling distorted guitars interweaving over "Beachboys" inspired harmonies. The song writing is solid, Every song has an accessibility ala The Beatles. My favourites are Haywire, Trouble and The Man Who Loved Life. However..."  [+]  Reply

"A very good debut album. Some people call it "Britpop," and while it has some elements of that, it really feels more like it's influenced by "The La's." It doesn't quite have the songwriting strength of Barlow, but it is varied and takes risks that "Take that" would never take. 9/10!"  Reply
