"Jeff lynne brings pop sensibilities and great guitar production, tones and intricate melodies. Some say he ruined Tom petty but that's nonsense. Three good to excellent albums including this resulted. This next only to full moon fever. Highlights learning to fly, two gunslingers and title track. ..."  [+]  Reply

Was Song 2 inspired by this? Does anyone else hear this? Give it a listen - do you think Damon Alba..."  [+]  Reply

"I Gave You Power" is some potent writing that never ceases to give the chills. The beat on "The Message" and "Take it in Blood" are al..."  [+]  Reply

"If "You Get What You Give" isn't the best song Mick Jagger wishes he wrote, I don't know what is. Outstanding songwriting, and the music is only about a half-step behind. People love to crack wise on this, but whatever. This was one of the better albums of the 90s and an album that was essential ..."  [+]  Reply
