"this website is frustrating lol. Too many hipsters and boomers and not enough cultured individuals. If you like jazz-funk-soul then disregard this album's rating and go listen to it NOW. If you're a Radiohead or Kanye West fan, go ahead and leave without leaving a rating. Thanks." Reply
"As great a 1-2-3 start as any album could have, the rest is good too." Reply

"No british band ever did the duel lead guitars as well as the Ash. The album is unsophisticated under produced and the lyrics an afterthought but that does not matter - just listen to the duelling guitars" Reply
"Just as good, maybe even superior to, Hot buttered soul, and you get twice as much this time round. Quite why, Black Moses, isn't more highly thought of is a bit of a mystery, it's a beautiful album." Reply
"The best album of Japan" Reply
"A very interesting album showcasing four excellent singer-songwriters in their own right as well as together." Reply

"A soulful album a little different & softer than his debut Curtis but just as solid. Underground & We Got to Have Peace are great songs along with Get Down which makes this a must for soul fans." Reply

"A spacerock masterpiece. Very strange and psychedelic but still focsed and catchy." Reply
"Wow, you hear this and wish it wasn't his last ligit album. Freedom and Angel are some of his best songs, and the holistic qualities of this album rival that of Are You Experienced. Night Bird reminds me of the Alman Brother's... he was about paying respects..." Reply
