"Bloody Mulu.....ruins this album for me! Don't get me wrong I'm a big TD fan but that is the one song I just cannot hold any affinity for. The rest, all good stuff, just not quite up to album one for me because of that one track, and when an album is only 7 tracks long it does effect the overall ..."  [+]  Reply

"The Cardiacs most commercial album (not very commercial). Contains there one stab at single success (Is this the life - a top 50 single in 1988) and a number of their live stalwarts from around that time - In a city lining, RES and the whole world window. Another glorious album of beauty - the br..."  [+]  Reply

"I really like this album. First studio album following 'Ace of Spades' was always a hard ask but I think they done a great job. Only a couple of songs on this are sub par but overall it still cracks at the full on pace you'd expect from Motorhead"  Reply

"I think that this album tries to replicate the success of Eliminator by replicating event the song patters so well done, but without much success. The beat is too disco and dull when repeated in most of these songs. The lack of hits is another dilemma with this. Sleeping Bag and Rough Boy are the..."  [+]  Reply

"Yes it’s over very quickly, but my God, who could withstand much more adrenaline soaked sonic brutality! The best record ever crafted to whip young men into a bloodthirsty frenzy."  Reply

"'East' vs 'Circus Animals' ? which is Chisels best album ? It's an Australian pub debate with no clear winner , they are both great albums , personally I've always preferred the more accessible 'East' mainly because it was my first Chisels album and has always held a special place in my heart Int..."  [+]  Reply

"Ok. I’ll just blurt it out right from the start. Street cred be damned… Rush is one of greatest live experiences in rock history! Rush injected fun and wonderment into the often ponderous and pretentious prog rock genre. Like an adolescent with ADHD, they sounded excited by everything - mythology..."  [+]  Reply
