""Nicely Out of Tune" was Lindisfarne's 1970 debut-album. Lindisfarne's music is catchy folk-inspired music; maybe it could be described as a British version of Lovin' Spoonful's good-time music. Lovin' Spoonful had John Sebastian and Lindisfarne had Alan Hull; both great singers and songwriters. ..."  [+]  Reply

"So far in my first listen to Thin Lizzy's discography, this is short of Jailbreak, but not by much. Loved this record, I still don't get how they weren't one of the biggest rock bands in the world. "For Those Who Love to Live," "Suicide," "Wild One," "Spirit Slips Away" and the amazing "Freedom S..."  [+]  Reply

"I listened to this every night for about a year as a kid. Off and on over the last 40 years. Every song seems a classic. It is a fun and though provoking album. Rocky Mountain High and Matthew are the standouts on theis old gem."  Reply

On this album you probably would not have thought of there being any folk-roots at all, if it had not been for her backing band consisting of people ..."  [+]  Reply

"For all the success that Adam Ant eventually had it's sometimes forgotten that before that success, his band and himself, Adam and the antz, released a new wave/punk classic in, Dirk wears white sox.
