"I was a 16-year old camp counselor in training, far from home in a primitive forest. I ran a high fever for two days with a horrific bout of tonsillitis. All I could do was lay on a bunk in a cabin with no air conditioning and listen to my records on headphones, sweating and hallucinating. This w..." [+] Reply

"A bunch of random lyrics weaved into one amazing 42 minute song. Lyrics like "We'll have Superman for president, and let Robin save the day" or "Make a man of him / put him on a train / teach him to play Monopoly / and how to sing in the rain" or "Your new shoes are worn at the heels / and you ma..." "A really unique-sounding album, even for Jethro Tull. The traditional English folk approach blends surprisingly effectively with Tull's hard rock ethos. It sounds like the soundtrack to the nerdiest game of Dungeons and Dragons ever conceived. Recommended. Even if you don't love it (and I'm not e..." [+] Reply

"Jethro Tull have 3 types of albums: a) near perfect masterpieces; b) good albums; c) weak albums. This one is a good album. You should not get this album as an introduction to the band but if you heard a bit of them and tend to like it, this one is a good choice to get some more. On the heavier s..." [+] Reply

"One of the more 'acoustic' sounding affairs which quite rightly befits the album title. More folky than the progressive leanings of Thicks As A Brick and Aqualung. A fine album. Baker St Muse is the standout track for me, this has a more 'progressive' feel to it." Reply

"I struggle to warm to this one - it feels like they're trying to repeat Thick As A Brick, but don't quite make the mark. It has its flashes, but I don't return to this one as often. The last of their prog-heavy records before they momentarily became poppier, before exploring English folk influences." Reply

"This is a double album which is a compilation but not a "best of" per se because it is a combination of great songs, outtakes, live cuts and singles not available on LP so far. As a result it makes for a very strong album. This ranks as a Tull essential "to have" album even though it has some mat..." [+] Reply
