"A really good step forward from her debut. Much more full sounding. Her songwriting has progressed nicely. The production is pretty good and is a defining feature of the album in contrast to her more bedroom-sounding stuff. All that being said, "c. et. al" is my favorite song on the album and one..." "MGMT have gone mellow, and I am all for it. Some of the best lyricism of their carreers merge with an album that to my ears seems to be subtly and cinically narrating the cycle of life and death. "Interesting for the most part but I get a sense of emotionlessness that I don't particularly enjoy in this context. My favorite parts of the album are when the guitar is broken out. I really like "Kinda Dark"." Reply

"I Disagree is a fun fusion of pop and metal. Abrasive guitars and synths are combined with cutesty pop hooks to great effect.
