They are one of the best bands of all time ...they have released some amazing albums and some mediocre ones but the great & good outweigh the bad by a long way.
Good band! They brought some great rock and mixed it with a southern, bluesy sound.
Neither the most consistent nor the most virtuosic of the great rock bands, but nevertheless the greatest rock band there will ever be

1967 - 1973 is THE golden Stones era imho. Just great after great album. That's about the same number of years the Beatles were together.
There are about 6 albums by the Stones that are very enjoyable and worthwhile! Raw rock and passionate playing.

No soy un gran fan de los Stones, pero reconozco que son unos clásicos y tienen al menos media docena de discos imprescindibles.
So sad that Charlie Watts is gone. Don't think they will ever be the same without him. A great drummer and the beating heart of maybe the best band we will ever see.

Pity those stuck comparing this lot to any other band from their time. The Stones brought swagger, showmanship and personality that few will ever rival. Britain's definitive classic rock act.

They ain't called the world's greatest rock and roll band ever for no reason. Between Mick Jaggers unique emotionally charged vocals and those incredibly distinctive guitar riffs, you've got one hell of a band.
