Postcard Records press - been after this for a while

Nice addition. Haven't given this album a listen in what's been way too long. Is that an edition that has the text on it, or is it just the cityline? Great album art for a record too, it looks so squished on a CD. Hoping to pick that up one day as well (just not the bizarre 2LP reissue).

Yeah it's the one with the text. Pleased as punch to finally own it, as I am with these I picked up today:

Dubnobasswithmyheadman by Underworld

93/100 Original JBO press

The Real Ramona by Throwing Muses

Original UK 4AD press - from a charity shop for the cost of a pint

Eurotechno by Stakker

Thanks to Tap both Joy and I have picked this up this week - looks like it might do rather well in the upcoming BETH tournament...

Synthesizing: Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat by Charanjit Singh

Chuffed to bits to finally find this - been after it for at least 18 months. Not the original Indian press from the 80s sadly (which is currently listed at ยฃ3k+ on Discogs) but the repress, which is still a pain in the arse to find at the best of times (only seen it once at a record fair and it was going for double what I paid for it)

And also a 12" of this banger:

After yesterday's overdose of beats and bleeps, it's back to my twee roots with today's slab of wax:

Lava Land by Piglet

bought this on a recommendation from a YouTube video. Apparently it's a fine example of math rock.
Less than ยฃ3.00 from the Bandcamp website.

and don't hate me but I also bought:

X by Ed Sheeran

the Wembley edition with the live dvd, and:

รท by Ed Sheeran

I think he's great. If he wasn't so popular he would have a cult following. Or something.

All picked up last week...

Trans-Europe Express by Kraftwerk

UK original - covers a bit worn but record is perfect and only ยฃ4

A Song by Pablo Moses

Had to add this one to the site...decent album

Disco by Pet Shop Boys

I'm not a huge PSB fan but I do love this remix album. Basically Chris Lowe gets to play out his New Order obsession.

Under The Western Freeway by Grandaddy

Reissue found in Forever records which I didn't know existed until last week. They've been open for 9 months apparently and it must be Nottingham's smallest record shop. I'd be amazed if they stock more than 1,000 records which are mainly brand new mixed with a few excellent condition 2nd hand records. It's an interesting addition but I think they need to expand their 2nd hand selection to really stand a chance, especially as they're just a stones throw away from Rough Trade.

Dรฉjร  Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

72 pressing in faux leather gatefold sleeve

Plus a Bob Marley compilation collecting a load of very early stuff (Birth of a Legend)...have not added this one to BEA as it originally came out as a double LP and the reissue I have is just a single disc.

A couple of peaches in the last 24 hours:

The White Room by The KLF

1st UK press - immaculate

The Transfiguration Of Blind Joe Death by John Fahey

UK mono press from the '60s. Picked this up for next-to-nothing off Discogs expecting the standard - nice surprise when this plopped through my letterbox.

And:

Rated R by Queens Of The Stone Age

2014 repress - the red 'Rated X' edition with lots of funbags on show inside the gatefold
