"On Al Final de Este Viaje, Silvio gets rid of the string arrangements of his previous releases which gives this album a more intimate quality and lets his intricate guitar work fully shine."  Reply

"If Ashes Are Burning is a big warm blanket, Turn of the Cards is an icicle through the heart. Much colder and more darker in tone than its predecessor, but still delivers all the Renaissance classics through Annie Haslam's beautiful voice, John Tout's atmosphere-setting keyboards, and the string ..."  [+]  Reply

"I know this album has left a bad taste for a lot of long time fans and it’s by no means his best album I personally really enjoy the new direction. I love the jazzy roaring 20s kind of vibe. I feel like this album had a lot of potential but came out half baked. Not great but an interesting new so..."  [+]  Reply

"Terrific album I’ve owned since the early 80s. Has concert staples such as Sinner and Diamonds and Rust (Joan Baez cover). Has the wonderful ballad Last Rose of Summer coupled with the proto-thrash metal Dissident Aggressor. I’d say this album, along with Sad Wings, is a must in anyone’s collection."  [+]  Reply

"It's a polished amalgam of PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Less jarring, better singing. This album has this orchestral lushness to it that I find extremely sedative."  Reply

"This schizofrenic whole is honestly better than the parts. What's great about his style is that he can take any genre and make it sound like a Weeknd track. An enviable skill that a lot of the people he samples wish they could do."  Reply

"Themed after a psychic community in Florida, Cassadaga marks a turn in Conor Oberst's career to a more uplifting / slightly less introspective side. However this album does not sacrifice its lyrical genius in the process. All of the instrumental arrangements throughout this album are a tad more l..."  [+]  Reply

"Suppose you're bored one morning so you decide to time travel back to 1996. When you get there, you happen to run into Beck, Ween, and The Magnetic Fields. So you roofie them all (cuz you're gangsta like that). Then you drag them home and throw them into a blender (cuz you're Dahmer like that). T..."  [+]  Reply

"68/100 Globally disappointed by this second project, besides the effort to make their formula evolve, 100 gecs gets lost little by little in already common sounds and their weirdness doesn't manage to be as percussive.I'm not sure that this album will have the impact of the last one. Moreover thi..."  [+]  Reply
