"Not only best album of the year, but one of the best albums of the decade and of latin american music. Listening to this, the amazing music and emotional lyrics from poems by Pablo Neruda is breathtaking. You actually feel on top o Machu Picchu. Trascendental experience and really worth checking."  Reply

"The Comfort Of Madness is THE definitive essential Pale Saints album , the band only released 3 albums and this one is the pick of them easily . On BEA "In Ribbons" is ranked the no 1 PS album and this is down right incorrect , this album is clearly their best Opening 'Way the World Is' kicks thi..."  [+]  Reply

"Yo La Tengo is one of the most consistent bands of their generation, releasing album after album of catchy indie rock that always sounds recognizably like Yo La Tengo without being overly repetitive. The subtly adventurous Fade rates as an above-average Yo La Tengo album, highlighted by the opene..."  [+]  Reply

"Midnight Oil are underrated as heck. Third favorite album of theirs. Becoming one of my favorite 80s bands for sure. Catchy, quite unique and fun as heck. His vocals and their style are addictive to my brain. One of those rare artists that impressed me right off the bat when I finally listened to..."  [+]  Reply

"Ween have always been good at switching up styles within the same album, but on the single occasion that they buckled down and hammered out an album of tunes of the same genre, they really fucking hit it out of the park. Even with all the cringe-worthy mainstream country songs with overused chord..."  [+]  Reply

"Not only is this enjoyable pop, but the lyrics are either very witty, or very powerful. 22 is cruelly depressing, Chinese was the sweetest song I've heard in a while, Back To The Start was disturbingly relatable, and Him gave me chills. Very strong piece of work here."  Reply

"The family jewels has plenty of duds and honestly wouldn't suffer if a few songs like "I am a robot" were cut. Despite this there is a lot to love on here. The fusion of baroque and electro pop creates a memorable sound. Marina's voice and lyricism do a good job creating personality."  Reply
