"Possibly Morrissey's finest album since 1994, despite charting at number 2 and gaining a high proportion of favourable reviews, it still seems to have been neglected somewhat. It didn't help that Morrissey fell out with the record company and the album did not receive any further promotion and wa..."  [+]  Reply

"My favourite of the 'studio' bootleg series. Some fantastic songs not released before, and I especially love the acoustic version of, most of the time. A great album, and some more pieces of the Dylan puzzle to fit into the jigsaw."  Reply

"These guys have very good taste in the music they stole, err, I mean sampled. e.g., The Band on "Check the Technique". I also liked the rhythm guitar, piano, scratching, and nice beats. And classic rhyme rapping, I like the relaxed delivery. Music to chill by, terrific album all the way through a..."  [+]  Reply

"The title track is great, always loved that. The rest of the album swings from excellent (Painter man, He was a Steppenwolf) to unbearable (King of the road, Brown girl in the ring) but for half of it's running time this album is a fresh and fun disco/pop record that still sounds great today. "Very impressed by this! A lot going on and coming from the album. Pale Black Eye was a favorite. Prefered it when they turned the volume up. Might have to check out more from these if they are able to put out something like this. A frosty fun forbidden fun fest! Heavy on guitar and orchestra!"  Reply

"As we approach the 1 year anniversary (10th May 2019) of the sad loss of Scott Hutchison I went back and re-listened to this album for the 1st time in years and it reminded me what a beautiful album this is . The first FR album that really spoke to me Scott may be gone but he will never ever be f..."  [+]  Reply

"No offence, but this was borderline unlistenable. Don't wanna say too much, it will simply seem like hating, there's no point really. I fail to see how or why someone would enjoy it, but good for you anyway."  Reply
