"This was a landmark album for Rory. He finally tried something different and it worked. I wonder how much of it had to do with Roger Glover producing it along with Rory."  Reply

"Although this is not their best album it is still a fun album. Plenty of psych and garage to go around. If you're only able to get 5 KGatLW albums, leave this out. But if you're looking to get every good/great album by them, this is well worth investing in. P.S. I love my mint green vinyl copy of..."  [+]  Reply

"For the entire 80s, everything this man touched was gold Jerry, gold! But now, Phil Collins sounds like an 80s retread sounding his age. It's not that these pop songs are bad, they're simply "ok" adding nothing to anything he's done before. And i think he's lost his writers' touch because the onl..."  [+]  Reply

"I'll never understand the hate on this album. There a still plenty of great songs on this album that any Kid Cudi fan should enjoy. Not to mention good features from King Chip, Kendrick Lamar,a$ap Rocky, and even Father John Misty. The way I see it is, this album doesn't sound a whole lot differe..."  [+]  Reply

"Pretty good compilation but I'd include "Generator", "Hey Johnny Park!", "Low", "I'll Stick Around" rather than "Breakout", "Skin and Bones", "Big Me". There are two new songs, "Wheels" and "Word Forward" which are both strong to excellent. This is a decent introduction to the Foos, but I find th..."  [+]  Reply

"Some good stuff but lacking overall. It sounds like it'd be much better live. They utilize the studio efficiently in "Poem By The Sea" but everything else seems constrained by the format."  Reply

"While not on par with the first two Dio albums, this is still a fine addition to the Sabbath catalog. Highlights are the crushing "Letters from earth," and the wicked closer "Buried Alive""  Reply

"The call and response vocals are interesting. The repetition and long track lengths are meant to induce relaxation and a sort of trance of enlightenment, apparently. They do get into a nice groove at times: best was "Ali Maula". The underlying melody isn't always compelling, and the long track le..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the best albums I've ever heard. A grower of sorts, but so incredible either way. Also, I can't think of any album that's bookended with as strong of tracks as this one. "Swimming Fields" and "Run Out" get me every time. Anyhow, this is a great album, and everyone should give it a whirl."  Reply
