"This is their best since their debut. It's nothing overly new from them, or great either. However, it took me by surprise. "Jamie comes back after a period away with his best work. You can tell some of the songs were written in an earlier era, but the best songs on the album (The Old Style Raiders/Between The Rocks/Old Republican) rank up there with Sheila and Zombie in the pantheon of his best. 50,000 Unmarked Bullet..." "Really strong influences here from Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake who both feature. Not bad, but far from great. I won't be too perturbed if any of these songs dominate the airwaves like the aforementioned artists did last year (Happy already is)." Reply

"A fun, easy-to-listen-to, dreamy mini-album full of catchy hooks and Californian-slacker dreams. The music is for the most-part upbeat yet since this is a Best Coast record the lyrics are often quite self-deprecating, yet this doesn't mean tracks such as "Fear of my Identity" or the opener "This ..."
