This album has some really great moments. It kicks off with 5 really strong tracks in a row. Then we get some good sassy humor with songs like "Pink Sunglasses" and the really great "For the Birds." Those are my favorite kind of Miranda songs. It feels like there is some filler though, especially on the second disc of this double album. "Keeper of the Flame" is not the kind of song I enjoy. It's hit 'em over the head sentimentalism. While I like the album over all, I am not convinced a double album was necessary. Streamlined to the best tracks, this would be right up there with "Platinum." As it is, it shouldn't be the highest rated of Miranda's albums.

Given that this a relatively recent country release with a 94-minute run-time, it didn't test my patience nearly as much I would have expected.
