2019 saw new releases from both Son Volt and Wilco, ofshoots from the 90s band Uncle Tupelo.
This one is a winner for Son Volt and singer-songwriter Jay Farrar, and the best album he has put out since Honky Tonk. Farrar has done politics before on his stellar Okemah record but he really lays it all out here.
The result is an honest and focused project that blatantly discusses deep political and cultural devisions in the United States.
