The debut album of Kiwi born, Australian-raised, NYC residing songstress named Julia Darling. Darling released this album in 1999 on Wind-Up Records, and follows the female singer/songwriter path of the era to a T. The songs are mainly acoustically based, and have enough catchiness to stand up to repeated listens. Her thin voice carries this music well, but substantial weighty material might exceed her reach at this point.
