This album has previously been incorrectly filed as an album by The Swingle Singers, instead of as a collaboration of The Swingle Singers and The Modern Jazz Quartet. Upon issuance in 1966 the album was accurately attributed as The Modern Jazz Quartet And The Swingle Singers on the album's spine. The French vinyl release was issued on Philips (Cat#: P 633.320 L) or (Cat#: D 840.267 PY) with both acts credited. The version which I have in my possession is a CD re-issue, also on Philips (Cat#: 824 545-2) with digitally re-mixed tracks from the original tapes, supervised by John Lewis on October 2, 1988 at Phonogram Studios in Tokyo. Both acts are indeed credited on my release and should be dating back to the 1966 release.
