One of the best metal bands ever. Peace sells and rust in peace are must listens for anybody. But beyond those two albums, their discography is inconsistent.

Everything up to and including Youthanasia was great. Peace Sells & Rust In Peace two of my favorite of all time. After that it's been hit or miss. They can still deliver high quality material though & Dave Mustaine is one hell of a genius.

Thank you Metallica for kicking out Dave Mustaine, because he went on to create one of the most important metal bands. They didn't write as many hits as Metallica but have remained far more consistent and would rather buy a more recent Megadeth album than a more recent Metallica one. So much talent has come and gone with this band. Gar Samuelson, Marty Friedman, Chris Poland, David Ellefson, Chris Broderick, the list goes on and on.

Still writing good Metal albums. The last two albums...Endgame and 13 are both quality albums.
My least favorite band of the big 4 thrash bands (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth) but I still appreciate Megadeth. They were a very talented band in their day. Best Megadeth album: "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?".
