The Beatles weren't themselves. They were Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and they played the best imaginary concert ever! A magical show that is as nostalgic as it is timeless.

The magical mystery tour is dying to take you away. Don't miss it, it will be The Beatles' last psychedelic tour. And it will take you to see "I Am the Walrus" & "Strawberry Fields Forever". Seriously, don't miss the tour!

The Rolling Stones being "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"! Not exactly a masterpiece like it was with The Beatles, but just as fascinating and often more out there.

1967 was a colourful year and could've been that for The Beach Boys too. After the scraped and odd disappointment of "Smiley Smile", The Beach Boys could've welcomed their fans with a new lush and masterfully produced psychedelic wonder, but instead they broke down even further what "Pet Sounds" had build up to. "Wild Honey" is a collection of raw and soulful songs with stripped-down instrumentation, very fun, energetic and unpretentious. Like a lo-fi album caught in the ultimate year of sonic expansiveness.

I guess it's true what they say, Jim Morrison really was such a pretentious guy, to the point where all he wanted to do was to "break on through to the other side". If "The End" wasn't his way to communicate how profound and out of this world he was, then I don't know what he was trying to tell us. However, I still think he was endlessly cool! Just like this album.

Need some time to get away? This concept album is a perfect choice for just that, a rock album that is as futuristic as it is nostalgic. A groundbreaking rock album with a highly enchanting orchestra to make it truly unique!

Once saw the band live at some kind of rehearsal. I walked in while they were playing "A Whiter Shade of Pale". Not having a great knowledge of the song, it totally blew my mind. Very overwhelming in a beautiful romantic way. Too bad it wasn't on the original album. With or without it, it's a great debut, I tend to think of it as a blend of Beatles and Pink Floyd. In that sense, it couldn't appeal to me more!

I like to think of this surrealistic pillow as a psychedelic Simon & Garfunkel album, so obviously I like it a lot.

Childish fairytale-like pop tunes put to crazy psychedelia and earth-shattering freak-outs. Pink Floyd were a band from another dimension even at the very beginning. I don't think the greatest member Pink Floyd ever had was Syd Barrett, but there's no doubt about just how much he was the main source of inspiration for the band, even many years after his disappearance. A fascinating interstellar overdrive of an album!

Strange days have found The Doors again. The songs are mostly on par with the ones on the debut, but the hights are a little lower this time, as exemplified by their second long epic album closer "When the Music's Over", which isn't quite as impressive and shocking. Still great music for strange people!
