Inspired by nothing in particular, as you can so clearly tell.
This is my own definition, though, and will include the revivals. So it won't just be a carbon copy of anyone elses chart. Not that anyone else would make a chart anything vaguely like this ...
No compilation albums here.
Right so I was an idiot for not counting Ubu and Eno for some reason. I just decided in my head "Nope, don't count". Yes, yes they do.
Lastly, don't crucify me for missing PiL. Heard very little of one album once, song or two from some others, and they were good, but I try to avoid putting them on charts, just cuz I don't know it well (thanks Spotify). I may have to revisit.

I don't really see how Pere Ubu isn't Post-Punk, yet The Smiths, Pixies, Bowie, early Talk Talk, and latter Talking Heads are. Whatever, decent chart.
