I'm no great authority on Irish music but the Horslips "Belfast Gigs" would be top of my list. A brilliant live album.

Probably stuff like MBV, James Vincent McMorrow, Two Door Cinema Club, Villagers, Glen Hansard, etc.
Squarehead, Adebisi Shank and ASIWYFA have all put out great albums since this list was released.

They released the initial top 100 in 2004, then revamped and bumped it up to 250 albums in 2009, hence the lack of albums like MBV and whole load of other bands.

For the top 100, I've heard the majority of them, still a small few avoiding me but I intend on having them soon, a lot of these are common enough in Ireland so it isn't too hard I guess. Wow! How did you do this? Surely you haven't listened to all of these albums. Or Have you? I am very impressed. I would love to do this with albums that came out of Texas, but I fear I may not be up to the challenge. Well done!
