Though i know musically this isn't the best album on my list musically, its songs make up 9/10 of my top ten most played, and it probably the album i've liked most. Gives me this great sense of nostalgia...even though i only discovered it february '11.

Probably the only woman to get anywhere near the top, she is such a good singer/songwriter, nearly every song on this album is great. Listen to Cosmic Love, Rabbit Heart, Blinding.

Can't believe i missed their tour! This album is so different to Antidotes, an album i didn't particularly enjoy, and so brilliantly good. Listen to Alabaster, Blue Blood, Black Gold, Total Life Forever, What Remains.

Once again, the National excel themselves, Bloodbuzz Ohio is one of my favorite songs of 2010, and the rest is just stupendous. Listen to - Runaway, Bloodbuzz Ohio, Terrible Love, in fact all of it.

Obviously very Bob Dylane esque and Tallest Man is clearly not as iconic but i much prefer his style of guitar. Brilliant album!

Perhaps its just because its new, but i really think this album is better than For Emma: much more positive and uplifting and fresh. Listen to - Holocene, Towers, Perth...avoid Beth/Rest.
