I notice that 2014 is a year that produced a lot of really good albums, but few that are the high-water mark for any single artist. One exception to that trend is one that earned a spot relatively low on both our charts is the self-titled debut by Jungle, an album I've begun listening to again recently. I think it probably deserves a higher spot on my 2014 chart, since it really occupies a unique position in twenty-first century retro-funk, especially now that Sharon Jones is no longer with us. Great chart overall; thanks for sharing it!
