What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
That is circling all 'round the sun
And when we meet on a cloud
I'll be laughing out loud
I'll be laughing with everyone I see
Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all [First added to this chart: 07/20/2016]

Top 100 Greatest Music Albums ratings

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 4% of charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a mean average rating of 90.0/100. The trimmed mean (excluding outliers) is 90.0/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 6.2.

Definitely an interesting choice with some unknown (especially French Canadien!) albums. Will have to explore these in the future.
did not check it the whole.... 100% just for your No1
Really dig the French-Canadian prog picks at the top of your chart très cool! However, way WAY too much emphasis on 21st century stuff\. 3 albums for the 80s vs 43 for the 00s? I feel you're missing out on loads of great older records...
I like your list
Very good chart. Good to see Einaudi, I like classical and modern classical music. Good to see classic rock and indie albums alongside modern. A very eclectic collection. Would have scored you higher but I hate death metal. And Genesis. But I love many of your choices: Floyd, Beatles, Led Zep, Bowie, Smiths, Cure, Arcade Fire. I like how you have many Canadian and French Canadian artists. I am Scottish and I have a few Scottish artists on my charts and plenty of British ones. Good to see you like the song Please Please Please.. by The Smiths from Hatful of Hollow. That is one of my all-time fav songs. Plus we have the same album at number one. 17 albums in common. And a good broad mix of good albums from a guy who's a relatively young age. Great stuff.
24 albums in common, 5 of which are outside of the top 100.
19 albums in common
22 artists in common
17 in common, fantastic chart! Dream Theater, Tool and Porcupine Tree... Really impressive
