I don't know how sounds the music in the Paradise but, if it exists, it would be something similar to David Gilmour's guitar on this álbum. "Shine on you crazy diamond" is the best ever song to my ears so... that's easy. Stunning lyrics. [First added to this chart: 10/15/2013]

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. That's a really nice chart. I was got by surprise with how ecletic it is. When I saw "Wish you were Here" as cover I thought that it'll be another classic rock list, but it isn't. Of course there are some albums that is "commum sense" in the BEA, but there are great exceptions.
Even we don't have the same tastes about music, I high scored the list, cause for me it's really good.

You should expect higher ratings. Your chart is easily better than most of the shit I see on this website. It's sickening that charts aren't actually more like this.

Wonderful chart. We have many artists and bands in common, including a few prog (especially Wilson/PT but others too) and I agree on "Your latest trick" as one of Dire Straits' top songs. I also find unknown albums for me which I will listen when I get some time. I reccommend you to have a listen to my #2 and #3 albums which are also prog and you may not know :)

Interesting prog Rock Chart.
I expected more electronic music, cause you said you love J-M Jarre.
I´d recommend some german electronics of the 70/80`s like Tangerine Dream: Stratosphere, Tangram, Logos. Klaus Schulze: Timewind, X, Dig It.
Or even better austrian electronics from the 90/00`s like
Kruder & Dorfmeister, Walkner.Möstl, Vienna Scientists.

This chart definitely have a personal stamp of your own. I didn't like the placing of X and Y which could have been down but as you stated its a personal choice of your and nothing beats that.
