Commonly known as the best Bowie album of the trilogy era is my favourite of his work and one of my most beloved albums ever. The instrumentals, the experimentation, the climate - it's all there in the best possible way it could have been done at this time. One of the best albums ever, a mindblowing project of a mindblowing artist. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

This is the album that started the love for art in music for me. It opened my eyes to the beauty of complexity, textures, appreciating albums as a whole, production and so on. Spiral is over 20 years old and it doesn't sound dated at all. The topic of this concept album may be hard to get through for some, but the music is to such a high standard. If you didn't give this a chance, do it please, it's really worth it. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

The album that got me into Radiohead with one of the best songs ever written, Paranoid Android. Still remember the night I decided to give it a try being all wasted, and I couldn't resist but listen to it whole night. That's right, I couldn't sleep till 10 AM because of this masterpiece. All songs are fantastic (I love electioneering as much as the rest), after all this time I'm still impressed by Radiohead's best effort. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

This is the album that made me try my skills as an electronic musician. The album is so old and it really is ahead of its time. My favourite album to study or get focused in general. Very rewarding and one of the most influencial works, highly recommended. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

I was always negative towards the movement in music that Kanye started. All this "rap is the new rock n roll" stuff. I've heard some opinions that Kanye is on the top of his game. And hell, they were right. This gigantic, 1 hour long, with a huge variety of inspirations and samples soldified Kanye as one of the most important musicians of 21st Century. While listening to it, I'm feeling like in Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut movie, in the palace scene, but all the aristocrats being black and introducing me to their world. It's something different for me and it's done in a spectacular way. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

This Billy Corgan's effort happens to be one of the most consistent rock albums in history. There is not a single bad song on it, not even mediocre. Every track has a purpose and is done at a very high level. The guitar work is totally impressive and even Corgan's voice suits the music really well. Best alternative rock/grunge album for me. I had no idea where I should place this bomb of an album. don't get me wrong, I love it and always feel the pleasure to come back to it and rage once again. But the reason I like it so much is different than any of the other top albums. Here, I just feel the emotions, the music is a background and a relief to the rebelious lyrics. I'm personally not a fan of RATM's political message but once again, it's the power and strength of the album that does it for me. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

This British synthpop album is one of the greatest mix of beautiful melodies and sinister climates I've ever heard. Those bipolar motives happen to work really well together and create music that makes you feel comfortable and unsafe at the same time. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]

I wasn't into Nirvana for a long time, because I thought it was just another popular poprock band after hearing some of the Nevermind singles (like Foo Fighters, but older). This changed my mind. Something this depressive, suicidal hasn't come to my ears since I discovered The Downward Spiral. Those two albums helped me a lot and I owe Cobain a beer in heaven for this work. This was an album my dad introduced me to. Didn't like it as a kid, was too chaotic and noisy for 6 yo myself. I went back to it last year and man, is it good. Here again, I don't appreciate this album in the same way as other on top of my list, but hearing this, I can imagine being in the UK at the time hating and rioting against all the values. A great journey and quite a lot of fun too. [First added to this chart: 03/10/2016]
