Top 67 Greatest Music Albums by PinkZeppelin (2020)

My favorite albums of all time

A lot of 70s, I know. The 70s is my favourite decade.

I also realize that three of my top ten albums are Pink Floyd, but I love all of these albums and they're not going anywhere.

Enjoy and please comment; this is a work in progress.

Amazing music and lyrics. This album, loosely based off of George Orwell's Animal Farm convinced me to read the book which I also loved.
Roger's concept for this album is great and adds so much to the already amazing music, something he does incredibly well on all the 70s Pink Floyd albums.

The first progressive rock album, amazing music and so influential. This is easily King Crimson's best album for me and the best progressive rock ever made.

Three of my favourite Pink Floyd songs and an amazing tribute to Syd Barrett. Shine On You Crazy Diamond took me a while to enjoy but now I can't understand how it took me so long. [First added to this chart: 12/13/2018]

Sitting down in a dark room and listening to this with headphones is always an amazing experience. I was blown away the first time I listened to this, and it's only gotten better since. Every track here is perfect. [First added to this chart: 05/21/2019]

Although it's not my favourite Pink Floyd album, I can't argue that it's a nearly perfect record. The themes are developed so well throughout the album and everything fits perfectly together. It's an amazing concept album while still having great stand alone tracks. However the experience of listening to this as a whole is so much better than the individual songs will ever be. Easily my favourite Zeppelin album. While their earlier albums often receive more praise, I find this to be more interesting and creative than their first 4. Not that there's anything wrong with those albums, they're still some of the best rock ever recorded, but there's something about Houses Of The Holy that makes me keep coming back to it, over other classics such as Led Zepplin IV.

The greatest rap album ever made. The Wu-Tang were so different than anything else at the time, and this album has survived to be one of the most influential and essential albums of the genre.

Many say The Beatles are the greatest band of all time. Although they are definitely the most influential, there are a few bands that I personally prefer. That being said I still love this album and to me it's easily The Beatles' best.
