Holy moly, I didn't like this album when I first listened to it because I thought it was pretty boring, but after listening to it a bit more, I can confidently say that this is one of if not the best album ever made.

Words can not express how much I love this band, though I started listening around when Isaac Wood left the band, it has quickly become my favourite band of all time and definitely one of the best bands of the 21st century.

Since the moment he released holy holy I knew this was gonna be one of my favourite albums of all time. And I was right. For 4 months I listened to this almost daily, sometimes twice a day, and although that has slowed down to once every few weeks this is still a phenomenal album. This is an album we will see come by in the future and think: damn that was great. 2024 has been a great year for music with some of my new favourite albums released compared to other years. I saw Geordie in Amsterdam and it was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Almost the entire show is just a straight jam session while seamlessly flowing through the songs. Geordie is probably one of the greatest guitarists alive today.

I wanted to do one album per artist but I just couldn't decide between this one and ants from up there. This is a bit more raw in my opinion and more chaotic, but I love both equally. I like their live at bush hall album as well but I haven't listened to it enough to give a good review.

It's been said a lot that picking your favourite Radiohead Album is like picking your favourite child, and I can now confidently say that that is true. When every album you make as a band is a certified banger, there is bound to be something for everybody in their discography. People be talking smack about Radiohead and how they're overrated but they just haven't found that one song yet, the one that makes you bawl your eyes out and leave you wanting more. When you do find that song, slowly every Radiohead song will start to click with you if you give it enough time.

Joy Division's short lifetime brought us two amazing albums (three if you count still as an album) and a whole bunch of great singles and compilation albums. Closer is one of the most depressing albums you'll ever hear in your entire life but the instrumentals are so great, you still want to dance. Ian Curtis' lyrics are painfully hard hitting and you can clearly get a sense of the sadness he felt. Peter Hook's bass lines are incredible as always, Stephen Morris' is just a machine like being and Bernard's guitar parts are really catchy as well.

Maybe their strangest album but every song slaps hard. Some slower songs on this one but still as funky as always.

The best classic gangster rap album of all time. By probably the best hip hop group of all time. N.W.A. popularized the gangster rap scene and Wu-Tang perfected it.

I'm not the biggest Modest Mouse fan because I find a lot of their albums overstay their welcome a bit, but this album is great front to back. All killer no filler. Great Instruments, great vocals. Just great music.
