"I'll never be a jazz aficionado...but I do appreciate the more melodic orchestral records by people like Basie. Enjoy the more dynamic numbers and the horns in his one. My fav tracks: Magic, Sweety Cakes, Corner Pocket, April in Paris. I have this as the Best Jazz/Big Band Album of 1957."  Reply
