"This is the first CD I ever owned. I'd worked all summer and spent every cent on a hi-fi system that included that new invention, the CD player. It was delivered on Christmas Eve and my brother bought me this album by an artist I'd never heard of. It was played over and over at that point, and ha..."  [+]  Reply

"Probably Joel's weakest album. Storm front is an example of an artist running out of ideas. It doesn't sound as though he was particularly inspired during this time. Still, it's not a terrible record. We didn't start the fire, is one Joel's great latter day singles, and, I go to extremes, which i..."  [+]  Reply

"Not as good as her debut but a good album nonetheless. The best tracks are the first 2 and the last 2. Be Careful Of My Heart & Subcity are the next best. The only track I would skip is Material World the rest of the album is good."  Reply

"The title song reminds me of a trip I made from Las Vegas to Yosemite to San Fran...I remember hearing this song on the radio as I came out of the foothills of the Sierras (going west to SF) and hit the beautiful countryside of northern California..this was in 1989 when this song was out...just a..."  [+]  Reply

"This was Alice's biggest commercial success in years (and there are few more deserving. This isn't a bad hard rock release but I actually think Hey Stoopid which is simiilar in sound if you like hair metal is superior."  Reply

"This is a fairly unique album in Phish's discography. It's much more jammy and less song-oriented. If you're into that aspect of Phish, then this may be the album for you, but if you'd prefer to hear better songs with more structure then check out Rift or A Picture Of Nectar."  Reply

"This is progressive metal even before Dream Theater, a truly brilliant and fundamental work for the development of many technical and experimental forms of metal."  Reply
