"Cardi B proves she can rap. Cardi B proves she can't write. Cardi B proves she can't pick interesting beats. Cardi B proves she might be able to make a good album one day. Cardi B proves this isn't it. Negatives: There's a solid handful of duds on this, and the lack of variation makes this an unq..."  [+]  Reply

"It doesn't seem like too many others are, but I'm thoroughly impressed w this album. Love the mixture of distortion and synth, and there's a good amount of variety with the production and melodies. A really mature release from a band who I had only expected bouncy, carefree pop from."  Reply

"Dance and rock at the same time, initimate and orchestral at the same time, epic and sensitive at the same time; in short this is so far and a after few listens an album that has grown on my and is my best album of the year 2018, a year that is already blessed with many great albums. "It feels almost like a pop album, with its catchy melodies, variable production, and the occasional cringy moment. I don't feel that its as artistically significant as their debut or Meliora, but its so fun it'll probably be the album of theirs I play the most. Best Track: Miasma"  Reply

"We really are seeing a new breed of indie rock right now. This sounds exactly like the missing link between Fleet Foxes & Built To Spill, seasoned with something else entirely. One eye’s on the past and one’s on the future but they’ve got their fingers on the pulse. It’s complex but accessible, l..."  [+]  Reply

"A haunting set of songs, it will only get better with more listens. I really hope they continue to make music together, as this is way too good to be a one off. Bite The Hand is probably my favorite song of the year, and the EP overall is definitely my favorite release."  Reply

"Another great album from UMO. They're really great at mining totally fresh sounds by deconstructing various genres and pinching elements from all over the place. Hunnybee might be my favourite song of the year so far."  Reply
