Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. If there is a little neglect of pre-90s stuff, there's lots of great classics here too!! I find the lesser know gems at the end of your chart especially interesting (Black Up and Los Angeles are both welcome additions), some notes would be very welcome!
Great chart, there's a lot of diversity and good picks form all over.

Some similarities, some differences. But I respect our differences. Could use a little more '80s and less '10s. Why do so many BEAers neglect that decade?

Good chart. 12 albums in common. I enjoyed looking at this.
32 albums in common, 12 of which are outside of the BEA top 100.
I've gotten a ton of great recommendations from this chart, and I'm looking forward to continuing to do so
Good chart! It's literally impossible to know what is coming next on this chart - despite a lot of these albums being hugely popular you pull from a bunch of different fanbases that often don't overlap.
