"A bit of a departure from their first two albums, The Back Room and An End Has A Start, to a more electronic sound. And it didn't really work for me. Although I do like Bricks And Mortar - great song."  Reply

"A decent album with some fine pop songs, but it just misses the mystique and atmosphere of the first album. Still, there's nothing wrong with the quality of music here, it's just I prefer the more interesting sounds of, felt mountain."  Reply

"Another brilliant Frank Sinatra album. Collaborating with Nelson Riddle, Sinatra produces a pleasing easy on the ear recording. Originally an eight track LP, it has now been extended to twelve, still, the original release is lovely. Featuring, I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter, a..."  [+]  Reply

"This record's so great at building an effortlessly dreamlike landscape. Most of the tracks here are little more than a repetitive guitar with vocals, but the way the two go together works on every track. Jessica's voice is the main factor holding everything together, it takes a short while to get..."  [+]  Reply

United States Low
"One of the most overlooked Low albums, perhaps their best non 90's album. Its more or less a continuation of the style of Things we Lost in the Fire, but pushing in both more atmospheric, and rock-ish directions.
