"A fresh and lovely album full of excellent ambitious songs, delivered in a bombast that suits the music perfectly. Some brilliant tracks in, made up love song, trains to Brazil, and, Sao Paulo. Guillemots made some good records after this but none come close to the beauty and invention of this al..."  [+]  Reply

"Once again, Gorillaz come up with something that is impossible to confuse with work by any comparable outfit and is yet totally original. This is the best new album I have heard this year, so far."  Reply

"Interesting sound. English hard rock with grunt behind it, yet done with a very lively flavor. Cracking start, couple of fillers in the middle. The last 4 tracks are absolute belters. Favorite track being 'Suckerpunch' which has a very Motorhead feel to it."  Reply
