"I've listened to this album a couple of times by now. It's definitely one of the stronger efforts from this year's album outputs. Baths create a thick fog of dark electronic and experimental sounds. I especially love the track Earth Death, it has a really dark midnight vibe to it."  Reply

"I wish everyone knew and loved this album as much as I do; but even though it's been easier to get hold of for a good ten years now, it seems there are still many who haven't caught on to its lyrical loveliness - I'm the first to post a comment on this, a site for the musical cognoscenti. Come on..."  [+]  Reply

"This is great, how come I've only just found out about it. Lucky guys getting to record with these legendary musicians and I'm not on about white and jones, although they are good on here."  Reply

"Fantastic Norwegian metal. First track has pummeling drums which gives an indication that it's going down a bit of a black metal road. This is not the case. From track 2 onward sets the tone of the album. Heavy as fuck but with the rhythms and riffs of classic metal. Top notch metal album."  Reply

"Good hard rock/funk rock/psychedelic soul/electronic rock album. Best 10 songs average is 86,5/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Far and away best songs are "Black velveteen" and "Fly away" both 95/100, followed by "I belong to you" and "Can we find a reason?" both 85/100. All other songs in..."  [+]  Reply

"It is definetly a Krautrock masterpiece. But it really does not deserve to be ranked higher than Ocean. Why? Because it is the most brutal Pink Floyd rip off you could think of. If you don't believe it, listen for your self. The intro to the Album is a 1:1 copy of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Par..."  [+]  Reply

"The Cardiacs most fluent album. Every song flows nicely from the previous and the classic line-up were probably at their best live around this time. No real week songs and a number of live favourites such as Roger the Horse and Arnald. However, the real stand out moments are Buds and Spawn and th..."  [+]  Reply
