It’s with some sadness reviewing this compilation, featuring and named after the Buzzcocks single - although not written by the recently deceased and much missed Pete Shelley. Like the title track, every song zips by with a certain brevity and joie de vivre that was missing from most guitar pop since the 60’s.
Another example of how punk rock managed to shake up the industry as well as people’s imaginations. Who says Noise Annoys?
