Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. There are some good ideas on here and some really bad ones. The buzzer in "K" is an example of a very bad idea. It's a scattered album but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The album changes sounds a lot and goes through many different genres of music, often many times per song which makes for an engaging listen. The transitions are good for the most part. Jaden's flows are actually impressive at points but the lyrics are usually bad. I admire his willingness to try things out of most rapper's comfort zone but there is certainly a lot of room to improve. A lot of the ideas are taken from other artists but he is far from the first to do this.
