Kathy McCord's first solo album was recorded at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey in November 18, 19, 20, 24; December 2, 1969. Produced by Creed Taylor (for Creed Taylor, Inc.). The album was released just as "Kathy McCord" by CTI Records in 1970 - as maybe the very first independent release by CTI Records (CT(I)-1001). (In Spain also by CTI Records CT4004 & in Japan by King Records SR-3302). 15th of August 1999 issued as a CD in Japan with the (new) album-title "Rainbow Ride" (虹の架け橋) - Manufactured by King Record Co. Ltd & Distributed by Vivid Sound Corporation (CTI Records VSCD-728). In 2011 remastered for CD in South Korea (released as CTI Records MI 0042) and expanded with 10 Bonus-tracks: 11. "I'll Give My Heart To You", 12. "I'll Never Be Alone Again", 13. "New Horizons", 14. "Acapulco", 15. "Baby, Come Out Tonight", 16. "That's A Love That's Real", 17. "No Need To Wait", 18. A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
