Track 1, "Miles Away," really puts you right inside the spacesuit, drifting endlessly through the vast empty void of space, though it actually only lasts about 15 minutes. The other three tracks sort of do that too, except for Track 2, the shortest one, which sounds more like being inside a commercial vacuum cleaner. All in all, it's a fine effort for the space-ambient subgenre, but then why call it "plunderphonics" and describe how all the sounds are initially sampled from other recordings when you're just going to manipulate the samples to the point where nobody can possibly identify the original sources? This seems unfair, somehow.
