My first listen to this thing came after I picked it at random off a library shelf. I thought the cover art looked demented, but figured maybe the music might be ok. Flash forward about a week, and I'm driving to meet a climbing buddy in the Flatirons. The traffic is just heinous, and as much as I love Kamasi Washington, The Epic Vol 3 just wasn't the vibe, so I give this one a try, and it actually made for a pretty unique drive through the dense, aggressive traffic of CO on a holiday weekend.
Meh. It's alright, but nothing special. Horehound is much better. This is one of Jack White's weakest albums that he participated in. Cop and Go is really good, as is Be Still.
This is some heavy garage rock right here! These tunes will pump you right up -love the guitar riffs and drumming. The vocals of Mosshart and White compliment each other perfectly throughout the entire album. One of the best records of 2015 for sure

Yeah...this is pretty good. Not groundbreaking, but has some pretty damn good Garage Rock tunes.
