The run of albums from Can’t buy a thrill to gaucho is one of the greatest “runs” of albums by any bands ever. Most artists would be happy producing just of of these great albums but to have such a great run shows what a fantastic band they were.

Excellent, unique classic rock band with a diverse sound and plenty of jazzy influences. Often cerebral songs for those looking for more than the usual rock fare.

Fantastic Band. Incredibly, still underrated. Clever, witty, knowing lyrics combined with wonderful music. One of America's best ever bands. One of my favourite all time groups. Wonderful.

If you're someone who likes having a good time, then Steely Dan might be the ideal band. With their funky, upbeat music, these guys have managed to make quite an impression. Their discography is surprisingly decent and exciting; all of the SD albums that were released in the 70s are worth listening. Highly recommended!
Can't Buy a Thrill and Pretzel Logic are among my favorite albums of all time. Almost everything of theirs is worth hearing, including all their now-nine studio albums, and a bunch of fine non-canonical material.
Fantastic band, totally should get more credit on this website.
