"Screamadelica" will will make you feel higher than the sun even without any substances. Contains the greatest song ever called "Come Together". Absolutely stunning party trip, so euphoric that your surroundings will shine like stars when listening to it!

Ghostly euphoria and the shoegaze sound that many have unsuccesfully tried to copy. Noisy, but paradoxically beautiful. A real loomer of an album!

I've always assumed that the slogan of Nirvana and grunge as a whole was "I hate myself and want to die". Imagine how surprised I was when I found out that Nirvana actually have made a song called that! "Nevermind" wears this slogan too, but with better production and songs than other Nirvana albums. Still curious to know how it was to be around the fuss about the album, particularly "Smells Like Teen Spirit", in the early 90s. It must've been like Beatlemania, just with the opposite attitude.

The show must go on for Queen, but it's getting very near the end. Not much has changed since the 80s, still full of slick sound and synthesizers with the occasional guitar-oriented rocker, but something gloomy hides under certain tracks. Listening to this album feels me with joy while also touching me deeply when I recognize the coincidental signs of Freddie Mercury's forthcoming death.

Help yourself and listen to Julian Lennon's fourth studio album. Mostly a ballads heavy album, Julian also gets to experiment quite a bit with elements outside of his usual repertoire. "Get a Life", "New Physics Rant" and "Keep the People Working" all feauture some sort of quasi-rapping, the latter two with a chilren's choir and African rhythms, respectively. However, it's by far his softer sentimental side that works best like "Saltwater" with a mellotron reminiscent of that in his father's "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Maybe I Was Wrong", a perfect example of a pop song with an "eargasmic" climax.

Achtung baby! This is not the U2 you used to know! This is the sound of a completely different band, well, almost. Again, they're trying to throw their arms around the world, but the songs are this time covered in electronic, industrial and far more experimental sound. Mysterious ways to go for an otherwise well-established band!

Slowdive into the Spanish air of Slowdive. Probably the least dreamy album of theirs which says quite a lot about how dreamy this band generally is!

Adventures beyond the utraworld or not (The Orb didn't exactly undersell it with that title), these so-called adventures are generally interesting and often spacey (except when you hear a rooster or listen to 10 minutes of ska guitar!).

Once upon a time, grunge was big and still alive. The greatest grunge debut belongs to Pearl Jam, a collection of immortal songs full of intensity, emotionality and great songwriting. Compared to this one, every succeding Pearl Jam album feels subpar.

The future sound of The Future Sound of London would prove to be much more ambient and otherworldly than this club-oriented debut, but even with something as danceable as this, FSoL managed to make something stunning and still quite spacey!
