Wow! I must say that I do not care for the popular music of the 80s much (with a few exceptions). However, your chart blends a lot of the more popular stuff with a lot of underground/alternative, making it a very comprehensive and representative chart. kudos...

A lot of mainstream - why not. some good picks like Tom Waits or Lloyd Cole.
