Pinkerton is one of those rare albums which gets better with every listen, no matter how many times you have heard it. It will never be bettered, due to the fact that Weezer didn't know they were making a masterpiece when they did. Every artist that attempts to replicate Pinkerton will fail. Dark beauty, and every song delivers. It's addictive.

A true masterpiece. An album of unmistakable beauty and haunting emotion. Each song is powerful and expertly crafted, and each full listen is a joy from the start to finish.

The Beatles changed pop music, and this album is an example of them doing so in terrific style. Packed with great songs and psychedelic goodness, "Revolver" is a pleasure to the ears.

Billy Corgan blends angst-fuelled guitar sounds with beautiful melodies and heartbreakingly emotional lyrics to create the Pumpkins finest album. Evidence of a songwriter at his best.

With the last album they ever recorded, The Beatles bow out on a high. Incredible songwriting, each song drenched with a happy, positive vibe. You can tell the Beatles enjoyed making this album.

"Sam's Town" is packed full of great songs, and grows on you with every listen. Delivers so many strong songs. You can feel the emotion in Brandon Flowers' voice.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Cool chart. It's a nice mix of classic albums and albums you're fond of that might not be critically acclaimed.
