I struggle to describe the brilliance of this record. It's vastly different to any album Bowie had put out up to that point, but holds his songwriting integrity intact. On one half you have these weird, catchy little vignettes of art pop brilliance, then on the back half you get treated to some dense, gratifying ambient narratives. Brian Eno obviously had a hand in this album, but his hand is often overestimated when it comes to this album.

You have great taste - a real eclectic mix in terms of genres covered, and importantly you've given due praise to indisputable classics - including many of my favourite artists and albums with great descriptions.
