One of the greatest musical experiences of all time. Every song flows like a magnificent waterfall on a beautiful hilltop. Every musician in the band at the time were incredibly talented, the lyrics are pertinent and marvelous, and the songwriting is some of the best ever. Robert Fripp's guitars wind and weave through each instrument, Michael Giles's drumming is superb (every drummer should study this album intensely), Greg Lake is in rare form, Ian McDonald lifts everything up to a different level. I might be overselling this album, but I think In the Court of the Crimson King is an awesome adventure for the mind and soul.

The only truly perfect album from the legendary Beatles, in my opinion. The brevity of this album is actually one of its strong suits, every song just peaks its head in long enough for you to be completely satisfied. Yes, Yellow Submarine is a silly song, deal with it.

This one is obvious. Almost every song on this album could be considered one of the greatest songs of all time and they all fit the same tone.

The Velvet Underground is one of the best bands to have ever walked the planet and this is their magnum opus. It's pretty much a cliché to say this album is a masterpiece at this point, but I feel it to be the truth. Lou Reed is an amazing song crafter. The Velvet Underground & Nico really progressed music further forward than anyone could have predicted when it came out. The subject matters were very taboo back then. They still are, but people will write about hard drugs and sexual deviance in songs now and people don't bat an eye. Truly revolutionary, this album was at least 25 years ahead of its time.

It took me too long to get really into this album (and band in general), but there's no better pop album out there. Brian Wilson was a master at crafting perfect pop songs. Pet Sounds is a great album to get lost in, every song is great. Highly recommend listening to this in both mono and stereo.
