It's not my favorite of theirs, but it is a masterpiece nonetheless. The backlash against it has maybe been just a bit too much. It's still way better than Abbey Road.

Easily his most overrated record, and it's still really good. God I love the Captain. Clear Spot does the boring pop rock thing better though.

Way better than Lady Soul, which I never was able to get into. I'm still not sure I'd call this a truly Capital-G "Great" album, but it's the closest she came, anyway.

This album was super ahead of its time. Yeah, there's always gonna be the "What If?" with Brian Wilson, but what we have is still pretty damn good.
