The pinnacle of good ol' Rock 'N Roll. Waaay more consistently excellent than its reputation would suggest.

If you couldn't tell, I love David Bowie. This is his best album, by far. His most experimental, yet also his most consistent.

As he got older, and his voice got weaker, Robert Plant sounded more and more like a Janis Joplin impersonator. Everyone else was on the top of their game with this record, though.
