"I diagree with others that this album has lots of filler. This is far and away my favorite Maiden album, and the "filler" tracks, like Back in the Village, are some of my favorites on the record."  Reply

"Their masterpiece, every single track on this album is great. This whole album has a similar sound to the best track from their last album ‘The Cutter’ due to the rich instrumentation, which is a great thing in my book. The best of the best include ‘Silver’, ‘Seven Seas’, ‘Ocean Rain’ and, of cou..."  [+]  Reply

"This album confuses me. Sometimes I feel like it is pretty good, but not quite great. Other times I feel like it is my favorite album of all time. Tracks 1-7 are some of my favorite U2 songs except for the instrumental 4th of July. After that there isn't too much going on. I like this album more ..."  [+]  Reply

"As a traditionally structured guitar-pop album, this couldn't be much better. Because its melodies are so perfect and unsentimental, I haven't tired of it after more than 30 years. I think it helps that the songs are not explicit, because in that way they keep the listener's imagination active. I..."  [+]  Reply

"This is Sade's best album. It's also probably one of the best R&B albums ever produced. Sade's always been a great vocal expert, but this record is where her vocals are shown at the best angle."  Reply

""1984" is an album that will likely appeal to the inner-10 year old in everyone, (if that inner-10 year-old still exists, that is.) The garage band aspects that defined Van Halen's first five albums (with David Lee Roth, natch,) have been smoothed, but not eliminated - and the results are compell..."  [+]  Reply

"Why is this album so influential? A lot of reasons. It certainly didn't invent electronic music, and it certainly didn't even popularize it. What it did do, in the same way that Silver Apples molded electronics with rock music, was produce a new genre of music which helped popularize electronica ..."  [+]  Reply
